Agree with you both there, mine is but 48.74% as of 5.40 but I wondered if mine may be less than the 50% as I had three nibbles at my original investment so incurring additional admin fees as opposed to those who just made the one deposit? Either way it's an absolutely amazing return. :praise:

It looks as though this news was not Ripple that posted this news, but a shareholder of GF.

It looks to me as if he has conveniently excluded the 5% fee which we paid to Ripple as part of the investment cost.

Email in from Ripple,

"We've welcomed over 600 new members. Hundreds of existing Derril members also chose to increase their original ownership in the project. This puts the total members in Derril Water at over 9,600, with in excess of £22M raised. That's more than 10 times larger than Graig Fatha, our first project.

Work on Derril is continuing at pace. We are now working at breakneck speed on the EPC contract with the preferred contractor and their lawyers, the bank and their technical advisors and lawyers, and RES providing construction management services. We will share contracted programme milestone dates with you as soon as possible."

So, I rekcon they have raised about £2M from the recent reopening of it, so the borrowing is likely to be about £20M as the total cost was expected to be £42.3M.

Ripple published this picture of Kirk Hill, it nicely shows you the lay of the land.

which I think looks OK (including the utilities associated with it.) It rather contradicts the hysterical opposition to the turbines proposed for around Haworth. (https://camelot-forum.co.uk/phpBB3/view ... 323#p42323 and https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/ ... wind-farm/)

On the same topic, on a walk over supposedly-protected moorland near Skipton (SSSI, acid peat on gritstone) I was appalled by the blinding white roads made of crushed limestone put in for grouse-shooting access.
