There is a voting sheet on Ripple community page for KH visit. I went for 25th Aug as I'm out the country on other two dates

May capacity factor graph for GF.

There had been some moaning on other forums for the poor May performance but it actually was 0.1% ahead of the baseline.

This just in on a mail from Ripple regarding the site visit.

"Your Kirk Hill Savings Data

Your Kirk Hill savings will start from the 1st of June, ( :D ) but there will not be generation data available on your Ripple accounts immediately. Now we have started to receive the data we can develop the generation views on your Ripple accounts. It will take a little time but we anticipate the first basic data to be ready in a few weeks and we will continue to evolve the graphs and data feeds over the coming months. "

Looks like double bubble for today, GF ramping up nicely too, but KH should be doing the heavy lifting today assuming the hydraulics aren't leaking. :xx:

EDIT - Wind forecast for the whole week ahead looks very good for KH.

I'll go with seven as it's a magnificent number.
Of the potential Magnificent Seven I wonder if any others may have an interest in Celtic Renewables over on the east coast at Grangemouth.
We invested on a couple of previous occasions and they are running a third raise now, afraid our funds our exhausted so not able to take part this time but did wonder if they might consider fitting in a tour of their plant while we're up there. Bit of a long shot I know, but did suggest as much on the Crowdcube platform and surprisingly received a response seeking our email address to pass on!

They are producing acetone, butane & ethanol from green waste products to replace those items currently supplied via Fossil Fuels. It is not new as this was how they were produced prior to FF discovery but now have renewed interest as the world strives towards reducing it's dependency upon CO2 emitting products and processors.
Not a recommendation, just passing on in case of interest.

Have a survey next week to install cavity wall insulation in to the coldest part of the house.
I’ll top up to just under 7000 kWh
Interested to read how the CWI turns out? :xl:
Surveyor has just been out and recommended a full re-fit of the CWI

Hadyard Hill is seeing 8.2m/s wind speed today, lets hope all 8 KH turbines are spinning, I wonder when the dashboard will appear with some basic data, surely it wont be the end of the month ?
