Chance of breaking a record again, with France importing keeping demand high.

21.4 GW now on Energy Numbers and I think it has to go over 22 GW to be in record territory.

Big numbers again today ~21GW, with exports to France, but import from the others.

Over 22GW tonight Nowty?
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.

We have around 5GW of demand to climb up to 6pm and we lose the 3GW of solar currently generating so gas is going to climb.

Can wind climb with it to add another 2GW.

Energy numbers says that we are exporting 4.1GW to France at this moment. That’s the highest I’ve ever seen.

How much can we export to France, Stan?

As I see it we could be exporting (by other routes) more to France, in some instances? These interconnections are a very useful tool for the European countries to help each other out at times such as in the present fuel crisis - due to the pukin invasion of Ukraine.

Looking at the OFGEM list, there are 4GW of interconnectors to France, with another 2.8GW planned over the next 3yrs.

Ahem - there's my uber-thread on Interconnectors here! Actually have 4.4GW of interconnect capacity to/from France at the moment.

I see nuclear has dropped a bit 4.2GW. The EDF site was last updated on the 3rd so is a bit out of date.
