I wonder if we start clocking up rebate immediately or whether there is a particular date or event where Octopus have to agree the actual export meter reading for the start of the power purchase agreement.
I hope it's from rotation 1! :)
Nice and windy there today, if its on full power that's a penny for me every 30 swooshes, and doesn't stop when the sun goes down.

K'ching,.......... k'ching,.......... k'ching.

I thought they changed the pitch of the blades depending on the windspeed so as to vary the power harvested by the turbine and to keep the blade tips from going too fast (speed of sound?). Thus the rpm has little correlation with power output.

The datasheet for WT1 says 13.5 per min.

Anyone here not a member?
Refer a friend today and win the chance to visit your turbine!

Thanks to amazing members like you, Ripple continues to grow. Over 400 members have joined Ripple via our "Refer A Friend" offer. The offer is now so popular we're adding an extra special reward for the next 2 weeks only.

Refer someone you know via the link in your Ripple member's dashboard. If that friend signs up to Kirk Hill Wind Farm before midnight 28th March 2022, we'll put both your names into a prize draw. One lucky overall pair will win the chance to be the first ever Ripple members to visit their chosen turbine! Either Graig Fatha South Wales, or Kirk Hill Ayrshire (once it has been constructed). Team Ripple will give you and your friend a guided tour of the site. You'll even get a chance to go inside (but not up!) the turbine itself. Five lucky pairs will also win two Ripple Member hoodies, each worth £46.

To enter the prize draw, your friend must sign up using your link by midnight 28th March.

Referring a friend to Ripple is easy. Simply log into your Ripple account and head to your dashboard. Copy your unique Refer A Friend link and share it on social media or directly with someone you know. If your friend purchases more than £1,000 of the wind farm, we'll also add an extra £25 savings to both your bills after their wind farm starts generating! It is a win for them, a win for you and a win for the environment!

Seeing as i'm 1334 (at the end of my sig) i'd guess 1334th in the list of members for Turbine-erry, makes sense not to overcomplicate things
Or a randomised "key" set up to 10,000 ? ..who knows for sure.

Yes, I'd love to know how the commissioning went too...
Turbines are now a "mature technology" so let's hope there were no hitches.
(I do wonder whether they have saturated the market for take-up though: I am surprised how few friends have been prepared to join in. I suspect anti-Cooperative prejudice as a consequence of too much right-wing media over the years.)
