Well that's me done until WT3, 5.564 MW owned with a prediction of 16.346MWh pa combined generation when WT2 is complete. I'll happily go along with Graig Fatha's predicted 6.972MWh pa generation until Kirk Hill comes online. :D

It's probably been mentioned before but I can't find it, is the 120% of grid usage or of all usage?

In the early days just "Usage" but recently they actually mentioned "usage net of your own generation." I didn't hear that, and have forgotten it already...

17m 35sec to 19m 50sec is the relevant time period

quote from the 14th December 2021
Thanks so much for getting in touch earlier today.

I have spoken to one of our business analysts, who have calculated for me the discrepancy in CO2 savings for the time whilst we wait for Western Power to connect us. We estimate that around 91,500kgs of CO2 per month would have been saved had Graig Fatha been connected in December.

What I would say, though, is that this delay extends Graig Fatha's operational period by the same amount - it means that the turbine will be operational for the time taken at the end of that 25 year period, so are of the belief that this will still be offset over time.

Do you think Mr Putin will still be around then and worried how much of his gas is used to offset lost wind energy ?

Your cheaper, greener electricity generation has begun!

We are extremely proud to confirm that the Graig Fatha turbine is now spinning and generating low cost, green power for you! All the commissioning and testing is now complete and the turbine is exporting to the grid.  Your first monthly savings will show on your electricity bills from the end of April. It's a very proud moment for all our 907 Graig Fatha members.

Team Ripple are down on site on today to capture this moment in a very special way. We will light up your turbine with a light projection to mark the official switch-on once the sun has gone down. Members' names will also light up the turbine.

We will make photos and videos of the light show available to you tomorrow. You'll find these on your dashboard, along with a personalised photo if you asked to have your name projected onto the turbine. We hope you will share this special moment with your friends and family and across social media. Now more than ever it is important to show how wind farm ownership can save people money on their electricity bills.

See your generation from tomorrow

We know you will be keen to track the generation from your turbine. Your real time and historic generation, together with your average hourly household electricity consumption, will be displayed on your dashboard. You will also be able to see your forecast generation for the coming 4 days.  This will all be available from tomorrow, although the real time data may be based on estimates for a day or two. We will evolve the dashboard over time, and will be reaching out to find out what additional features you'd like to see.

Don't forget - Graig Fatha is your turbine.  Without you it could not have happened. We hope you are as proud to own the turbine as we are for helping you do it.

So that's May then. Pity.
