I have been doing my own for a few years. Be glad to hear from anyone who's also doing so and equally, happy to help, if I can, if someone's looking to start.

Raising and lowering kit is quite an investment though and there are more than one tower/kit type.

Currently, I'd like to find out details of the main bearing. Would be good to be able to get one in stock before dismantling to minimise downtime. Suspect it may need replacing at some point.
