Last night we were exporting more leccy than that produced by gas whilst curtailing wind by 15% of total grid production. Of course price went negative.

There is plenty of wind at the moment and It's nice to see that pumped storage is mopping up nearly a gigawatt of it.

Yesterday and this morning we were curtailing 5GW + of wind. This represents 20% at overnight production. Yesterday we curtailed 102GWh, just think what you could do with that. 4kwh per day per household being curtailed.

Thanks Ken, really interesting. So that's about 3hrs of UK's average annual leccy consumption. Really shows what is possible going forward, but also how much work is still needed.
