Does this mean that our contribution to national output is not counted?

It is counted but is estimated, some info is available live and some is not.

Gridwatch.Templar for example gives lower live UK wind output because it only counts live output, I think via a data feed from Elexon.

Grid.Iamkate for example adds an estimate of the non live wind output.

Gridwatch.Templar Is currently giving wind generation as 1.5GW and Grid.Iamkate is giving 2.11GW.
The wind records from NESO (ex national grid) also use estimates but they may have some additional info.

I use the website you mentioned https://renewables-map.robinhawkes.com to benchmark both GF and KH wind farms.

Only generators connected to the transmission system (large thermal plants, offshore wind farms, and more recently large solar farms) are directly reported in grid generation figures. Generators connected to the distribution network (smaller onshore wind farms, most solar farms and other embedded generation) only appear in transmission system data indirectly as a reduction in grid demand.

As Nowty explained, some data sources adjust the wind/solar figures for this embedded generation using estimates. Hence the differences between say GridWatch Templar and iamkate.
