Hi Folks,

This is our 20 years of Sustainability Project here at 'Le Vivray', Normandy France.

Wow 20 years, gosh the time flys, so to speak.

I will post Photos as i have many thousands from the years past of all the servicing and all the builds and rebuilds.

Now, for those of you that like these things, i now have actual DATA on outputs etc, although actual output metering is not possible with Tristar controllers as they only register what is dumped to heaters as all 4 off are set as Diversion loads, and they are clamped direct to the 1300ah Battery bank.

Our First proper photo from 2007.

Mrs holding a set of blades before painting and final assembly and flying.

And in one of my books.....

And the most recent. Here are my French friend ladies helping me get the blade assembly for No 3 Turbine on to the PMG, Permanent Magnet Generator.

Some of you may have seen my latest story on the No 3, Turbine. Here i will stay in the English Language.

My No 3, 3.7m diameter, Wind turbine has local assistants to help me fit the Blade assembly.

Since COVID I have been mostly on my own with our 20-year Sustainability Project, here in Normandy.

This is the last of our Manufactured and made here Wind Turbines to get its own good 5-year service.

This NO 3 has fiberglass blades that we made here from our own moulds, and these are 3 times the weight of the normal Red Cedar wood blades.

Because they are heavy, I struggle to lift them onto there 5off mounting, 12mm dia, stainless steel studs. So here I asked my French friends Dimitri’s ladies to help me as Dimitri is away at present on a work contract.

I put the blades up to the studs and the ladies guide them into the holes in the blade assembly. Simples, but impossible on your own as the blade assembly is very fragile on each of the blade tips, so someone to guide is essential.

My very Big Thanks to the ladies from the Eco Log Cabin in Mardilly.
