In fairness, there are loads of great ways of graphing in this day and age, but the Victron VRM is great.

My Pylontechs charged by my Sunsynk inverter have been doing exactly this for a few weeks now - charging like a good one all day until they get to 89% then flatlining and not going higher even if a few more hours of good sunshine left in the day.
If you hadn't mentioned trying different batteries, I would think a pack or two have very poorly balanced cells and the BMS is not allowing significant charge beyond the voltage you hit at 89%
If that's the case then it's probably a software related SOC reset trigger incorrectly set, but surely the Sunsynk just gets this info from the batteries, are they getting to balance voltage, do they balance?

I think it is just the way the pylon tech report the SOC during charge. Mine stop at 89% for ages and then rapidly climb to 100% after. This is despite the charge remaining quite high during the period.
I picked a bad image as I think I had just changed the Myenergi and Victron max current into the house. They were fighting each other. However the SOC bit is obvious.
I'm charging my battery stack in the three hour cheap slot on Flux, and every single night the Luxpower app shows a linear increase from the start SoC up to 89%, at which point it flat lines. But then when the stack hits 100% it's essentially then a straight line from the starting SoC up to 100%.
But, to be clear, the charge current does drop as per the BMS orders; the same anomaly also occurs when charging entirely from Solar PV.
I believe an important point to make is that this is a reported state of charge, and not "Amount of stored energy". The only way to record it is to measure the voltage and then extrapolate and because of the electrochemistry this can't be expected to be perfect.

Oh, actually think you're right, I just checked on another Pylontech Houseboat system I installed:
I've also noticed the Pylontechs hang at 11% for ages before going lower during discharge, you can also see that in the graph, before it turns on AC in at 10%.
It is perfectly alright for them to stick at 89% they all do it, especially if your max voltage isn't as high as that requested by the battery (53.2v).

I've always set the absorption voltage at the Victron recommended 52V (3.46V per cell), the 89% hang happens up until 50.91V (3.39V per cell) for the OP that don't see it go over this, I guess It's a time vs current thing, at the moment we still don't have much sun, so it might be hard for chargers to push over this.

Well oddly today the us5000's just cruised straight past the 89% and went straight onto 100% with no delay or flatlining - exactly like they did everytime for the first four months of their life, but totally the opposite to the last month.
Surely these things should at least be consistent?
Nothing on my system has changed so i just cannot get my head around why they would perform so differently now.

One pack of mine took 88 minutes to go from 89% to 90% today. They were sat at my max voltage setting today of 52.5v with plenty of power available, but they didn't need it. They then took 35 minutes to go from 90% to 100%.
