Has OFGEM gone bankrupt?!?!

#1

Post by ivan »

I've been trying to contact OFGEM over the last couple of months, as they've failed to process any of the last 3 RHI readings I submitted. As the next one is due, that means an entire year of unprocessed readings, which doesn't seem quite right. I've emailed them at various emails they provide (hi@ofgem.gov.uk, rhi.enquiry@ofgem.gov.uk, feedback@ofgem.gov.uk, hi.enquiry@ofgem.gov.uk ) over the last few weeks but had no response whatsoever. Today I tried ringing them - I can get a response from the general enquiries number (0207 901 7295) but they can't deal with it - they put me through to the RHI team - which simply reads out a press release, runs me through a menu system designed to weed out people from Northern Ireland and non-business enquiries and then after about 10minutes I get pushed to an answerphone, which tells me it is full up and hangs up on me! If you phone the RHI team directly on their number (0300 003 2289) you get exactly the same.

Maybe Ofgem has gone under?! Strange how an organisation intended to regulate poor customer service in the Energy Sector should have such poor customer service itself.

Maybe you should write a short email to your MP detailing the above?
