FIT payments with SSE/OVO

Mine are paid by OVO roughly 8 or 9 weeks after the previous reading. Typically I get the "submit your FIT reading" just after I get the previous quarters cheque arrive. Might be quicker if I had it paid direct to my account.

Had my 'reminder' email two days ago and the previous periods cheque arrive the week before.

Balances out in the long run, but when i get my reminder at the beginning of the 'read' month period i tend to ignore it for a few weeks and enter my reading at the end of the permitted time - just makes it seem less like waiting forever for the cheque to appear.

I've been with EON for FiT since the scheme started back in 2010.

Long since moved supplier (now Octopus) but they have always been really good in terms of providing readings and paying out.

A couple of years back they shifted the 3 month cycle but that wasn't an issue. My current reading window opened on the 1st September and as I happened to still be up on Saturday night/Sunday morning I put the meter reading in at about 00:15.

Got the statement/payment amount by email at 08:12 on Sunday morning and it arrived in my bank account yesterday (Wednesday).

Pretty good service by all accounts.
