It's weird, it really is kid in a sweetshop style of thing, all inclusive! Had an afternoon kip as we've been on the go since 02.00hrs in Edinburgh. Looking forward to dinner and a couple of drinks but more than that, a beach walk tomorrow.

Nice to see the battery stack hit 70% soc from a start of 38% this morning. I have to keep reminding myself it's still January..

Been out for a walk. Temps are good. Off to bed with a book. :ugeek:

SWMBO thinks it's all just smashing. That is in itself really excellent to see. :)

A birthday? I am amazed, I had assumed it was an anniversary (we have just passed our 50th!) Such a wise head on such young shoulders...

Enjoy your holiday and soak up the local atmosphere, we are getting sick of armchair travelling and wondering again about S Spain and maybe Gib before too long.
I remember visits to Almeria, a nice ex-ore-exporting town - now a very low-key Spanish "resort," also Cartagena. These places have a wonderful atmosphere.
Best wishes

Happy Birthday JB! :)

Resy, I am also going to be 55 in April :D as you say the TV must have been RUBBISH or the summer weather was good in 1968!

I do recall my late mum telling me that my dad was pacing up and down on the eve of my birth imploring her to "get on with it" as he could get a tax rebate if I was born before midnight! Yorkshire through and through my dad was, god bless him :hysteria:

Have a great day JB

Thank you for the Birthday wishes, much appreciated. Been for a walk with SWMBO. Great breakfast here in hotel. Fry up, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, OJ & coffee.

Really nice hotel, sun was out a bit earlier. In bed for half 9 last night, lights out about half 10, slept to 08.00hrs, brilliant! :D
