As an addition to your musings there JB we have the TV in the lounge and the bedroom TV and associated electronics all linked to smart plugs which schedule them so between midnight and 7am they are all off, the lounge TV goes to standby at 7am ready for the kids use at breakfast and SWMBO an the bedroom TV only comes on standby at 7pm - almost everything in our house gets switched off at midnight as we are early birds rather than night owls.

Got to love them smart plugs !

I find it hard to believe that it can fall much below the current low consumption levels? All the added bells & whistles of a smart TV talking to the router through the air and it runs for less power than a 50W incandescent light bulb. :ugeek:

A little progress on the pallet wall. Beech, cherry & pine fitted so far.

All done with a solar powered chainsaw, drill and circular saw so far. :D

Eats up an ENORMOUS amount of time to do but starting to see flashes of cool coming through. 8-)

Yep, although they are likely going to be retrofit and in the back. I hope to have it lashed in place for the weekend as off to Turkey next week. Time is going to be tight so i'll learn and build some bug units towards Autumn. :D

Thanks Iain, from the mind of swmbo. We had great fun setting out the logs, we don't need therapy but it was therapeutic 😀 :D

Back into it tomorrow morning for a slicing and debarking session on multiple sizes. Gap setting them too to hopefully stave off rot via contacting damp surfaces.

It's defo my first organic art piece. 🎨 :ugeek:

Thanks BTB! Having a grand time doing it. Was great to get swmbo engaged today, she's now leading the charge yet cleverly becomes scarce at slicing & debarking time, nae daft that lassie!
