Hold the boat! 35p for a 5W E14 led bulb boasting 400lums. I thought it a misprint so bought two. Older stock I think as on the old energy scale, 35p....

Out on a boat trip today. Mostly old buffers like me from down in the Southern Shire, high awareness of PV, batteries & RE in general. Switched one guy onto Ripple & Project 4. A greT day!

Just the view from our door.

Had the fire helicopter complete with underslung water bag pass overhead this morning. It is heating up again, that's for sure.

Having lunch and a chill, a nice breeze today so didn't want to shut the external doors. Swampy came to the rescue and at setting 2 of 3 and 15ft away there was no need to run up the air con. Absolutely brilliant! :D

34 degs in the shade now at 17.25hrs. Dropped the swamp cooler down to setting 1 of 3. It is more than enough, I'm kinda gobsmacked at this. The display on the swampcooler says 27 degs but it feels better than that. 8-)

That's really weird. Power to the off position, seamlessly slip into 5V world again.

Big ice cubes are in place
70 ltr HWT is charged
250 ltr cold water tank is full
5V Lights everywhere
Network hub running
Phone fully charged
Battery back up hither & yon
5V usb fan on stand by.
28W panel ready to rock tomorrow 😎

Pineapple g n t & Super tramp doing breakfast in America. Power cut, what Power cut?

Some salt in those ice blocks?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

You never know when you may need to resort to drinking it, so why salt it, one less thing to worry your kidney's about in a SHTF scenario ;)
