Well, That’s unusual! Grid power.
For the first time ever, that I’ve seen, imported power is the main contributor to the grid. 25% imports, 20% for wind, gas and nuclear.

That is certainly unusually high proportion of interconnections. Guess there’s a lot of wind in mainland Europe?

We are on almost full import on the inter connectors but that’s not unusual by itself.
I think it’s more to do with low uk demand as it’s a summer Sunday ( but not too hot) and low uk renewable generation.
I would normally dig into the gridwarch historic data to see if it’s a record or not but I cannot do that at the moment not being near my home computer.

Interesting that hydro is generating 1% and pumped hydro is mopping up the same amount...

The interconnector import i think peaked at 34% which is certainly the highest i have seen it although it has been 30%+ before. At least there was not any wind curtailment.
