Obviously I couldn't resist such a thread, and referring back a while to when Joeboy asked about the 1/3rd tonne of cat litter I got, here's proof that we have a giant puddy tat. But of course, in reality, the cat litter (wood pellets) were for the rescue, not us.
Bodie on the left, with his twin brother Doyle (dump truck) on the right (mini-Vesper in the middle).
And just to close it out, we recently had a visitor, the lovely Timmy, whilst his owners were on holiday. We'd fostered him for a few months (before he was adopted) after he was withdrawn from Guide Dog training due to minor shoulder dysplasia. For ethical reasons, such dogs are withdrawn, just in case a working life walking on pavements results in arthritis or similar.
He arrived with his small grey dog bed, and never once got to use it, as all the cats took turns. But he quickly discovered our selection of alternatives.
So those two cats, are Tibby (grey tabby), the foster fail, who I spent weeks rehabing for the rescue (he was one of 31 timid cats from a hoarders house) and then Wifey and I simply couldn't let him go. And some may recognise Flash (Gone in a Flash)(white with tabby bits), the feral boy that we took two years to befriend, and who's capture I mentioned on a random thread on the old site, 9yrs ago, and led to the pet thread. Sadly, Flash has badly injured both achilles, and his second ear is now in poor shape (white ear/skin cancer), we had to have the other removed a few years back. So he's (literally) on his last legs, as he's too old (15+ estimate) for anymore ops, so it's just a matter of seeing what gets him first, full failure of the legs, FIV, or ear deteriation ..... but he's so happy.
