New small (ish) BEV announced

Who remembers the Smart For 2 and Smart for 4? Who remembers that they were originally a joint venture between Mercedes and the Swatch company?!

Well, Smart has been bought by the Chinese conglomerate Geely and they've announced a brand new, ground up BEV Smart.
Looks quite big, and doesn't look very Smart-like from the front design, but could be a good "smaller" BEV?

This design was put out 12 months plus ago, I'm pretty certain I'd mentioned it here? ..shame they are destroying micro car roots.

The small smarts are great fun, kept looking at the later for twos prior to lockdown at auction (knowing what was happening with smart) ..the fabric roof was what turned me, slightly bigger wider as a two seater was acceptable, but the fabric covered metal roof, killed it for me.

This faux suv type thing from smart simply destroys me.(ala Nissan juke)
Live auctions are now a thing of the past too, it seems.

Still have our two 450's ..the brabus "red" edition & the blackjack 450, loathe to sell em.
