US EV Sales Q1 2022

Crikey. I knew Tesla was ahead of the field in terms of sales, but not this much, goodness me.
For context, this represents a BEV market share of 4.6% in Q1, with an overall fall in new vehicle registrations in the US of almost 20% (the US market is staggeringly huge).

Not captured in this table (for obvious reasons!) are any vehicles from "Market Leader" General Motors - sales of Chevrolet's Bolt (479 registrations), and GMC's Hummer EV (80 registrations).

Tesla has an 80% market share of a rapidly growing market. Staggering.

Hiya Dan. A few years back Mary Barra (GM) announced that they would be selling 25-30 EV models by mid decade. Perhaps she just meant total EV sales, as I think they reached 26 sales in Q4 2021.
