Zappi has a very good model by model forum tied to the manufacturer for info not found here. (a few different era models if looking on ebay)
I like the zappi, hate the price.
Cumbersome exterior design.
Well priced sample spates when I checked with their engineers who know their kit as one would hope, not a stack it high flog it cheap chinese rebadge.

Re: Pros and cons of EV chargers?
My other tip is it's easier to get a slightly longer cable at the time of purchase than to buy a longer one later. We could have got away with a 5m, but a 7,5 gave much more flexibility.
Re: Pros and cons of EV chargers?
We think the same, our cable is I think a 9mtr aftermarket purchase. I made up some bullhorns to coil it on. There is enough cable that there is always one coil left on the horns. This means that any movement load is on the last wrapped coil not the connector going into the by comparison
expensive charger.

Re: Pros and cons of EV chargers?
I bought an after market 10m cable to use with our charger, probably one of the most useful mods I've made, as it means that we don't have to always park the car in the same place, and, as we found out a few months ago, it meant a friend who visited on a sunny day (who owns a Leaf) could park behind us and grab some free electrons (not literally of course) whilst they were here.
Not sure about posting a link, but it was a company in Belgium that had been recommended on an EV forum a couple of years ago, Very, very impressed with the quality of the cable, massively better than the stock cable the car came with. A bit stiffer, but thinner and it just never wants to tangle or twist up. Not the cheapest cable available, but I think it was worth paying a bit more for something made in Europe and of a decent quality, especially given the use it gets.
