Not an extension as you seem to imply (they are not allowed but chap across street doesn't seem to know, runs cable across pavement). Limitation is permanent wiring out to garage, along a fence that needs replacing too. Will also need the carpeted floor up in living room. Big job for little gain, car mostly used at weekends so wanted to fully charge by Saturday morning, which is now achieved.
Options for battery ESS are limited, not much room in garage (?too cold?), maybe toolshed, maybe conservatory subject to SWMBO approval, wiring to all 3 sites will be a pain so won't upgrade feed to garage until that is decided. Wish now I had made more provision when kitchen was done 6 yrs ago, I thought at the time it was sufficiently prescient to run the cables for a two-speed fan and a new ring for the utility room added subsequently, EVs were just a gleam in the eye back then.
