I think a UK Gallon of fossil has 44kWh of energy in it

Yep, I reckon I was using an American gallon, so the ICE is even worse.

So thats, 968kWh for the ICE :evil: , vs your 189kWh in the BV. :mrgreen:

There is the additional FF element in generating the leccy but in France its much lower carbon than here cos of their Nukes.
