Well, our little town (6000 including surrounding rural area) is getting a charging station in the town centre.
Not sure of the configuration, currently in the digging up of roads to lay new ‘conduit’.
It has been part of planned service upgrades, but the scale of work has been significant - road closures etc.

I wish Caernarfon town council would get its house in order and put a set of fast chargers in, we are a veritable island with all the other tourist spots not having at least a pair of 50kW chargers.
No wonder we don’t get the tourist like Porthmadog and Barmouth.

Aah yes there was actually quite a bit of coverage when that one opened considering the size and its location in a charging desert in the South West!
Also notable for using the Kempower system which used dynamic load balancing between all the posts to get more throughput from the same grid connection.
I know Bjorn Nyland has done a few episodes about Kempower- their software seems very robust.

I’ve been catching up on osprey today, they’ve fitted 200 chargers in the last 100 days between the highlands of Scotland and Cornwall.
Most interesting for me is the increase in Perry units along several of our long distance routes in to and out of Wales.
They seem to be getting the better of Fuse and InstaVolt at least around North Wales.

Hi Dan,
Yes Osprey seem to be very active, they have made a massive difference to infrastructure in North and mid Wales in little over 12 months the whole journey south and east (and points in between) of our location has become so much simpler.
