It was precisely that which made me think about an EV when it came to changing our trusty Ford Focus. Had it not occurred I would quite happily have gone and bought another identical model! I thought EV's were something long into the future and hadn't even considered one previously. Now we're FF free both for transport and domestically. Just have the spectre of Nuclear and the Cumbria coal mine to reconcile now.
