Nyobolt have supposedly invented a very high-C rate capable battery - but we don't know the capacity of this one in this test so it's hard to really tell how significant it is. They've made some claims about 10,000 cycles as well. Although in other places its 2,500 cycles.

Ah ha - I found some more info - it’s a 35kWh battery pack.
Charging at 350kW gives it a 10C charge rate.

They claim 10-80% took 4mins 37sec.
They also claim this chemistry is good for 6,000 charge cycles.

Can someone clever work out the average charge rate for that?

350kW/35kWk => 6 mins for 100% charge therefore 4mins 30sec for 75% charge
Will that do? :D

So its flat at 350kW up to 80%?

Well they are suggesting only 70% (10-80) and 7 seconds more, so whether it is flat or slow to start, or slower near the end is open.

Just a heads up about Dave Borlace's video due out this Sunday announcing the imminent arrival of more than one EV charger capable of charging an EV direct from PV avoiding the losses incurred when converting to AC and back again!
