I thought this lot had died after the "running under its own power" debacle?
And why are companies still thinking H2 is an economic and viable in this day and age?

Re: Nikola Trucks still alive?
The answer is in the article,
"When the CEO of a major heavy truck brand tells you hydrogen isn’t green and doesn’t save you any money, you know there are big incentive dollars at play – and that’s OK. The US government has subsidized fossil fuels to the tune of tens trillions of dollars over the last few decades (orders of magnitude more than EVs, in fact), so the relative pennies on the dollar they’re spending on hydrogen and BEVs seems like fair play.
Whether or not this particular hydrogen pilot program will make enough sense for DHL and Diageo to continue with the HFCEVs going forward, however, remains to be seen."

18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated

Michael Barnard (who lectures/advises around the World on such issues) has posted many articles on Cleantechnica about H2 projects.
Basically, different countries, regions, states etc, are rolling out subsidized schemes almost as fast as previous schemes are imploding. He is typically able to point to all of the mistakes in the plan/procurement, and where the numbers are simply wrong.
HFCV's will fail, but for now being propped up by all these schemes, that don't seem interested in the performance of all the dead schemes littering the rearview.
Nikola stock price ($NKLA) is down 90% this last year, and down 99.8% from its high 4yrs ago, when Hindenburg Research (not satire) released their report on Nikola, exposing their frauds. Trevor Milton the CEO, began his 4yrs in prison, this Autumn.
