Exactly right - the photos of the e-Ambulance I snapped earlier in the thread is for a patient transport-type ambulance rather than a Blues & Twos emergency first responder with a paramedic on board.

But even so, I can certainly imagine those types also spend most of their daily duty cycle simply parked up waiting.

I think that even “high milage” duty cycle Ambulances would be able to work as a BEV. The milage comes primarily from the fact they’re used every day. Imagine 100-miles a shift, easily doable on electric, 1 shift a day is 36,500 miles a year, 2 shifts a day would be 73k mikes a year. The ambulance would need an hour of rapid charging per shift, but this could be while the crew are on a break or waiting for their next call. And AC charging could be used between shifts.
