Not a lot to go on in the video is there? But an eight seater with that sort of range is deffo the sort of vehicle I need for our menagerie of kids and pets and as the battery is structural I would think there’s chance to fit a tow bar for the van so we can glide down to the annual family holiday.

I’m waiting for someone to bring out a motorised caravan axle that links to the car accelerator so that the van provides its own drive but is slaved to the cars driving speed - useful at the other end too as the van would have a large onboard battery for running the onboard equipment and the low slung mass would make a caravan much more stable. Plus a caravan roof made of solar cells is quite a large array so useful on trickle recharge over a period of days.

Lord knows how much they would want to charge for one though 😤

I think it mentioned £100k and appears little more than a pipe dream presently. If I had the money I doubt I would risk a grand on it ever making it to the market place. Lots of smoke and mirrors as yet, but who knows, I've been wrong many times in the past so might well be again.

Don't know if this goes anywhere close to what you had in mind Maxi?

Thats exactly what I was thinking of not that it would take a genius to come up with the scenario ( i did after all lol) but as a caravaner (sorry) its good to hear they are starting to build systems to compliment the electric vehicle market - I wouldn't like to guess what the UK market for such Caravans would be worth over the next ten years, but it will be significant !

Yes, have to agree with you on the last point although I'm not exactly sure what form they might eventually take. No need to apologise for owning a caravan, I do too. Although having just the Leaf now I need to find another means of towing it, unless I just sell it. But a bit long in the tooth now to consider returning to a tent. Maybe we'll just have to B&B in future
