I’m gonna buy a Golf PHEV to tide me over until it gets here…

I saw some slightly smoke damaged ones come up for sale, cheap, buyer collects, ..location keeps changing due to non-steered, adrift boat.

Water damaged too now !, ......... location is now known but at the bottom of the sea.

At the depth it has sunk to we will never know the cause unless it was witnessed & caught on camera, however as it was carrying a mix of ice & beg ..it's the best fault (headbang) right?

What different protocols are say tesla & vw observing do you think? (Wondering how many tesla shipped versus vw for starters)

On the basis that the iD4 I've ordered won't be here any time soon, I've bought a plug-in VW to tide me over...

It is a Golf PHEV. I got rid of the XC90 PHEV before xmas. I got £5k more than I paid for it 2-years previously so made the most based on the impending arrival of the iD4.

However coping with one car for a few weeks turned into several months and there is no sign of the iD4 on the horizon. Plus paying inflated prices for diesel and having solar to-spare meant that I needed something plug-in to use in the mean-time. I'd have preferred a BEV but Leaf/Zoe don't float my boat and eGolfs are like hen's teeth, so here it is. Sporty little thing. Went for a 16-plate for the zero tax...
