What is PPF?
Paint protection film. They do special versions for matte cars. It prevents stone chips...

Last one for a bit. Even cooler than insane charge rate yesterday of 192kW is the 6A setting on Easee one home charger, why? Well Deckard is plugged in and charging off solar right now. It might only be 1.3kW yet its the cleanest power he's seen so far and a first and its also February. :D

Hi Joeboy,

For me that would be the best feeling of all - charging the car off your own generated, free, clean power - good times ! the weather here today has been excellent, cold air temperature but sunny with a few clouds about - new second array has for the first time been a notable contributor to the house loads and the front array is now picking up the heavy work for the afternoon as the boss saw the dial tickling 1.5kWh and piped up with "I'm doing a wash and tumble dry while we are producing" comment ...........so proud ;)

That week plus a weekend without an EV wasn't nice. Felt like a traitor to myself somehow. It was absolutely grand to be in one again yesterday. The Ionity 350's at Gretna are right beside a BP station. Just sat watching this archaic ritual going on, then I silently moved away... 8-)

You're telling me! Shes even brought up the topic of a small electric car to replace the aging diesel focus we use as a second car - I've said theres not much in the way of budget BEV market at present but shes said she will watch the market "as it will no doubt continue to develop over the next few years"

My gast was well and truly flabbered I can tell you!

There is huge demand for new and used BEVs at the moment. Which is a good thing, but prices are crazy. Can’t see them calming down for the next year or two.

Thanks Andy, it certainly age's every other car in the carpark!
Anyone thinking of buying an EV should test drive one of these before handing over the cash. There are many layers of planning in this beastie and a level of refinement that's maybe a little unexpected, hard to say it clearer than that.

I'm looking forward to the 300+ mile drive South tomorrow. I wonder what we'll get out of the I350's? 192kW is the record to be beaten! :) Hopefully my Hyundaichargecard will work and I'll get for 24p per kWh. 🙏
