The battery itself loses about 1% per month. Obviously the car’s systems draw some too. But shouldn’t be too much if the battery isn’t protecting itself from freezing or whatever. The trick is to leave the car with 60-80% so it isn’t sat at 100% and it still has decent range after some power is used.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

204 miles to 190 miles range in a 4 week standing period. 3.5 miles per week seems acceptable?

It was great to be piloting the magic carpet again! :)

The house used under £1 (15kWh) of grid power in the month we were in Turkey and that's down to the hybrid inverter algorithm, zero gas and we came through the door to 20+ deg rooms and an 80 deg HWT. :D During the same time, the house made over £40 in FIT.

Sons powerbill for the month will be standing charge only at his home so he wins too.

Aphid invasion on the chilli plants so that's first harvest today for the second hand chest freezer we are picking up this afternoon. ;)

Hit the ground running and don't look back, I love the RE life! :D

Just getting up to plug in the EV and begin charging from PV.

Yesterday my neighbour received his Ioniq 5 lease car. She's very pretty. (Good thing I re-read this, I mean the car, though to be fair, he's a very good looking chap).

Our triangle* is turning into BEV World. We have TiMmY the Tesla, another house (dog walker friend) just got their new company car, a Tesla 3 SR, two houses up from them have an ID3, four houses down from us got an E-tron about 2 months ago, honorary triangle member across the road got a TM3 last year, another dog walker friend further down the next road got an E-tron a while back, and yet another triangle member had a TM3 P, but changed to a Merc estate, then a LR Defender, and is planning to get a TM3 again (I suspect he's in some 6 month lease scheme where he gets to 'play' with many cars). And yet another dog walking friend from further down the road got a BMW i3 last year. The weird bit though is that I'd say we are a normal to slightly lower end semi-detached suburban area of Cardiff - certainly not a particularly wealthy area - so I don't know why we have this little pocket.

Add in lots of green flash numberplates that I see, and are getting more common, including all the buses that drive the routes near us, and 3+ of the Cardiff rubbish truck fleet.

*Three roads that form a triangle, with all gardens coming together. About 25 houses in total.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.
