Not so green with so many (B)rex-it related seats having to be left unsold due to passport / security checks & extended check in times required.
No ski train either.
Wonder who in uk government is meant to be resolving all these long known about log-jams?

Bearing in mind how much lower carbon travel the ski train is "was" I'm amazed this element has not been sorted sooner by uk & european passport control expansion in log-jam areas, especially for winter tourism, france italy etc, they'll be screwed come easter.

They are already screwed: there's no snow! Also I read that they haven't got the water for "artificial" snow either - even if the Swiss have got abundant HEP.

This is the 1in 7, howeverabove 1800-2000 metres should be ok & useful, ..for now, point with the rains, train more staff whilst a lull, seasonal aberrations or not, more people are understanding less flight is needed & possible, esp with new trans eurpean routes being opened.
More ev's & more potential for ski travel with a packed car, utilising eurostar.
unlike a couple of years ago where geneva airport ev car hire was a total unhireable pr bullshit fabrication by the big companies, ..who I even called & spoke to, they are coming into physical stock in small increments, so at least some travel flight guilt can countered, & this was half the problem of modern onward travel.

Here is the biggest indicator of the current weather strop, town centre of chamonix, or ground zero of sensible resort height with various mountain lifts around it..

Brevant (a few hundred metrs aabove) & flegere are "do-able" but more snow beneficial, no biggie, in stark contrast to reportage where they don't mention altitude, resort or directional facing for context.
