Will the Honda E-cub ever be a reality?

Will the likes of tesla produce anything to be the modern version of the famous Honda Cub?
Or do Honda have their own plans (wish they'd show their hand)

..what would the original $215 dollar be today as an E-Motorbike?

The video gives good backstory of the "unit" that has never really quite gone away as well as show the similarity of the 2019 US model

No big manufacturer of pre-existing Name ' fame or tech that gave Japan basic movement after WW2 & kick-started a shattered economy, & big wheels dealt with pretty much everything (still do in the 3rd world conditions)

If Tesla's vision is to build from the top down to enable mobility, then "jumping the shark" with a basic two wheeler would surely be helpful even as a different name sub brand arm.

Many of us from "st elsewhere" have been aware of the slow battery migration to the moped to become the e-ped & the saga of chinese companies bad electronics & "junked bikes" wither bled dry from lead acid batteries & idiot expectation.

Other than the high end (Zero bikes) we have no "mobility for the people" anymore.
(i'd love an affordable 125 e-equiv step through that kept pace with general traffic fed by solar, charged for an hour on a type 2 connector)
If we expect the 3rd world to leave petrol behind we need to feed in a reliable design to carry on the pre-existing 2 wheeler mobility that you see elsewhere as well as enable a 3rd world clinic to charge a battery to "nurse" a community.
