Geely "Panda" kei-car

More spec info on this video than the original (which wasn't showing in my history for some reason)

Geely, a name we became familiar with via Carlos Ghone, so this is a sub-brand that has been absorbed by geely but still bears its name..

Bare bones 2 models, A/C & power assisted steering. FAST charger (@22kWh) ideal for a small BEV, 14 inch wheels. (13 inch on the base model)

2 battery sizes across 2 basic trim levels (apparantly)

Obviously the fast charger not being limited to 7 kWh is a winner for out & about, in contrast to what is the likely maximum at home, but in terms of keeping it small & not having home charge space opens up a lot more assurity to potential buyers.

I enjoyed seeing this. It certainly fills a relevant space. Cool. 8-) Akin to a robot puppy dog? Yet does serious business 🤔

My big concern is of such a bad reputation for build quality & downright lies resulting in a "dog buy" (even if you forced all new brands to join the motor trade association & abide by UK rules, ...of which tesla are not either, so it has to be all or nothingto coax confidence for customer base potential & for the chinese manuf's to understand our rules for "playing ball"

A recent BS scenario for the claimed sales & servicing agrreement set in place for a chinese brand of E-moped springs to mind, as does an indian one in what it promised versus actually delivered.

But yes I love it too.

Nah, sounds good to me, IF all mp's give up pool cars & use these or the nearest equivalent for the next 50 years, ditto royals.
