The Chairman of CATL said that if solid-state batteries were rated on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, the current score for solid-state batteries would be a 4. At present, their price is still relatively high, and their yield rate is not as high as that of lithium iron phosphate batteries.

Something to keep an eye on then, especially with the relentless increases in technological innovation.
Reading the article, the claimed range of the MG would, id imagine, meet everybodys needs and remove the range issues for folk. Id most certainly have a different view of EV with ranges like suggested and would no doubt have let the moths escape from the wallet.
