One of the biggest criticisms of the Zappi has been it's appearance. I saw a teardown which explained how it was way more expensive to manufacture than competitors (bespoke rather than commodity silicone). And MyEnergi have basically sat still for nearly a decade while all of their USPs (solar integration and PEN-fault mitigation, for example) have been copied by competitors.
They did promise a V2G charger, but no sign of that yet. That'd be game-changing for me! I'll swap my decade-old Rolec when someone offers one of those.
I've been holding off on increasing home storage and inverter capacity on the basis that a V2G charger has to be released eventually!
