Tesla to CCS1 Adapter • Charge a non-Tesla at Supercharger
I’d be very nervous putting 200A through an adapter!

I'd say 200A is not too much of a big deal, I'm happy with 160A with my own home battery at a nominal 48v but its the combination of 200A at 400v ! :?

I bet you’re careful to ensure the connections are clean and bolted down very tightly! Now imagine an “adapter” rolling around your car getting crud in it and connections that are just pushed together…

I must admit there is a lot of torque 'n' copper on my bolt down forklift fuses and they still get warm.

Aviemore? Smashing! :D
Real handy for almost nobody...

As an aside, I reckon Dundee must be right up there for a city populated with most EV charge points per person. Seriously, driving home last night about 02.30 and could see wee blue neon lights everywhere. Must be at least 25 on the length of the parkway alone. 👏 👏

Banbury is a big one I'm sure that'll get a lot of use given its location and it has 12 250kW stalls. Reckon the Foklestone Eurotunnel one too will prove popular.

And for those of you keeping count, there were only 14 showing on my previous screenshot/list.
The 15th has now popped up too, it's at Cardiff, which as 8x 250kW stalls.

I think it would really help the take up of EVs if you could plug any car into any charger and pay with a card or even cash, no need to muck about with APPs or accounts etc.
