Recycled plastic (fibreglass core) train track sleepers

These are reported to be fitted within the uk now, via an American firm fitting them in other places..
Made of waste plastic, presumably like those utility benches we used to see (no longer happily) that used to get set fire to a lot.

Not seen any mention of the fact these are reinforced with glass fibre anywhere (gets in the way of a story I expect)

I'm thinking that if we already have reports of warping rails on pre-existing sleeper stock in summer heat then how is the heat transfer model (not mentioned anywhere) for plastic waste sleepers, these have big old metal pinnings & pre-existing track lines which obviously absorb heat (as well as attract the wrong kind of leaves)

The firm is Sicut Ltd. https://sicut.co.uk/

I can see use of these sleeper in solar set ups as foundations (buried to keep cool / transfer heat from metal) but these tracks where the stones heat up, rails heat up & you often get heat haze, i'm not so sure.

If they've been modelled on "current" temperature suitability that may not muddle along with climate change, but if the testing is to be believed then it has been conducted far & wide in terms of extremities.
