Meteor Shower time, peaking tonight, this time its the Leonids.

Some clear spells in the south tonight, spent 30 mins but saw nothing so far but blurb says better after midnight so I will take another look later. SWMBO reckons she saw one faint one.

Unbelievably mild out, 14 degrees here on the south coast.

Jupiter very bright tonight with all 4 moons easily seen with binoculars.

Dog went out side for a wee around 2.30am when I went to bed so I snapped this with the phone..according to StarWalk the bright one in the middle is Jupiter.

Not the greatest shot in the world, but 10 years ago considering taking a night shot with a mobile phone was not even thinkable.
