Hi All
My name is John, live in North Wales, am completely new to solar but keen to learn.
This is my first post, my second will be to ask for some advice please on a photovoltaic installation.
Looking forward to the journey and meeting fellow travellers and hopefully a few guides to help be take the right road.
John

Welcome new fella!
Remember:
Don't feel pressured by any salesman.
Not all salesmen are bad, having swapped double glazing for solar (although some have)
Not getting an solar diverting ev charger may cost you more in the long run, do the math.
Batteries are costly & have hiked in price, pylontech are a brand with a lot of support here (& happy customers)
The mantra here is basically "insulate, insulate, insulate" ..it really helps with your baseline energy use & home modifications.
Ask lots of questions having read as much as possible beforehand.
Share what you do, pics are great for spotting possibilities & motivation for others.
There are regular go to places that members recommend it doing a lot of purchasing yourself, such as nimble solar, seconds et al, ask & folk will likely link a pre-existing thread or a website.
If your location isn't ideal for solar, consider hopping onto a ripple w/t project
Your "ish" location helps determine solar production potential so share of you think it will help with estimates.
Go as big as possible.
