Glad I found you...

My PV was installed just before Christmas 2022, and since then we have had 1 (short) day of sunshine. Of course the week it was fitted was lovely and bright... Ah well.
I am struggling to understand all the settings on the inverter, and there seems to be no proper documentation for the user. I shall lurk here for a bit and see if I can work out what to ask...

1) Welcome!

2) Do you have batteries?

3) What are you trying to achieve with the settings?

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure there are some Solis owners on here.

Come June the days are much longer.

Having it installed near the shortest day of the year you get ever increasing happiness for about 6 months. ;)

Thank you for the welcome.
I have 2 Puredrive PureStorage II DC 5kWh batteries. (I'll adjust my signature...)

@Stinsy asked what I was trying to achieve, basically this:

1) All excess PV generation to go to the batteries until they are at optimum full.
2) Nothing to the grid, since I don't get paid for it.
3) Make sure that Batteries are kept at the optimum minimum charge for long life too.
4) Charge the car rather than give it away!

I don't have a flexible tariff (I am with Bulb, until the Gov. & Octopus get their act together) and the Smart Meter fitted in 2020 doesn't work.

Welcome old fellow.

Whats the story behind the faulty "smart" meter (if it is long and langourous feel free to create a new thread) detail always welcome.
I'll also apologise in advance for abbreviating your forum moniker sometime in the future as "TOF" 😉

The story on the Smart Meter...
I wanted it to get a more flexible tariff, with the EV etc.
It was installed by a Siemens engineer who told me it was working, and it would "take an hour or so" to sync up with the system - I even gave him a tip. A year later I am still waiting.
Bulb have not sent anyone to fix it, because they only get paid once for fitting it, and they don't care if it works or not. That's the problem with subsidised policy stuff, once the subsidy has been paid, there is no incentive.
Technically the lights on the damn thing suggest it is in contact with the network, but it never syncs to it.
I have had numerous neighbours recount similar stories, it seems that Smart Meters hate Cumbria rural locations.
Why they couldn't use WiFi and had to invent their own network is a mystery.
