So much for Tesco "ECO-Stores"

#1

Post by Mr Gus »

About 10-12 years ago the "Tesco Ramsey Superstore" was launched with much pomp.pagaentry & press ...ooh they love the press!

We went there a few times but soon gave up because of "perma-ice" & the general demeanour within the place.
Tried again the other week, looking for those lentils as we were passing, ..yup. ICE'd as usual, but wanting to get stock I went in whilst wife parked elsewhere without charging (obviously)

Wandering around the store it looked like a bomb had hit it, asides from the usual left open chiller doors (honestly I spend 5 minutes in a tesco closing them compared to a minute elsewhere) but it was pretty pointless on the basis of such a high percentage of door seals being totally buggered, hanging off, missing, etc..

I got out, rang up this morning.
Apparantly I'll have to email head office myself (reasons unknown) rather than a complaint taken re qality of product & store crappiness.

But yeah, so much for "ECO"
