jump to newest unread post?

Is there a setting, so that when you click on a thread title, it sends you to the newest unread post, rather than the newest overall?

I had a look through user control panel but didn't spot anything. It's a bit annoyin!

Not to divert from your request, but this post reminds me of another feature I'd like personally. Upticks (but NOT downticks) as an easy way to show your concurrence with, or just appreciation of, a point made.

If you click on the little red square icon to the left of the post topic, rather than the post topic itself, that should take you to the newest posts.

on my view of the board index if I see a red circular logo to the left of the thread title, clicking it takes me to the first unread post. A small arrow beside the name of the latest poster at the RHS takes me to the last post...

By default I have this site bookmarked to open at the index, using this URL saved in the bookmark: https://camelot-forum.co.uk/phpBB3/index.php

That does as described above, orders posts with the newest reply at the top and a red indicator at the left for any unread posts. Clicking it should take you the last unread post in that thread, as long as your browser is storing site cookies, and, perhaps, caching the site content. If you have your browser privacy settings set to delete the cookies from this forum after a session than you may not be able to use the above functionality, I think.

Apart from the types of links already mentioned there is a Quick Menu in the top left which allows you to jump around as well.

Generally if you hover your mouse pointer over an item there will be a pop-up that offers an explanation of what that link does.

I've also added a general icons explainer post here - viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1714

Thank you all!

Yes, the little red square is what I've been needing.

Afraid I do most stuff on the phone, so hovering mouse pointers doesn't really work.

Agree with GarethC regarding an uptick/thumbs up.
