I noticed marshman had quoted me earlier three times but that they were old quotes- must be a glitch in the matrix

I think bonkers heat to blame in the forum software, or a kitty on a keyboard who is smarter than previously thought.

Mine was mainly MM quotes also.

Somebody check the dilithium crystals asap.

Heh, same here. I was rather baffled thinking there was some time travel shenanigans going on.

I think something is going on here, I looked at the ones I had a notification for and saw nothing untoward. But then I searched on marshman's posts, and for example,

Marshman replied to one of my threads with, "Congrats." .................... followed with a load of info then about his own achievement. To which Joeboy replied to his post thus copying what he had said. But at 9.37am this morning marshman's own post has been edited with the bulk of the post about his own achievement deleted to just read "Congrats."

I then found many more of his posts have been replaced with a dash. I think he is either deleting himself (I find that hard to believe) or someone is doing it to him.

I've noticed it too... Have we been invaded/hacked? "Just" some malefactor trying to disrupt a happy band in order to damage western social cohesion?

Yes, I've spotted that some Marshman posts have been shortened drastically, or pretty much wiped out.
I hope nothing untoward is going on, or that they're beginning withdraw from the forum.
Not spotted this with anyone else's posts either.

TBH if he is miffed at something the solution may be to ask for posts to be deleted en masse.
But his last comments gave zero indication of this.

As its a single person I would expect it to be at his end? We'll see what the next couple of days bring.
