Another solar powered day trip in the EV today, won't be many more this year before I need the grid again.

Not too difficult to guess the location, we were at Tiger day at the Tank Museum, Bovington, fantastic battle re-enactment, loads of vintage infantry weapons firing blanks and some decent pyrotechnics.

Allegedly this is the only operable Tiger tank left in the world, and is only run twice per year. It was captured in Tunisia in 1943 and only suffered minor damage.

Reminded me of the film Kelly's Heroes.

My Boys TIGER tank MK4, is to be moved into its own building in the local town and restored. And then later to full working condition.

It is made up of great big thick slices of 75mm plate that is all very nicely welded together with electric arc welding. Its now fenced off from admirers.

I’m on my travels again, this time in search of the BLACK SUN, coming Monday.
I’ve seen it twice before so hoping for my hat trick.

Passed over the southern tip of Greenland on the way.

Just out walking in the evening, a local guy suddenly shouts out, “Oh man, a space launch”. It turned to be a SpaceX rocket streaking across the sky. Looking at the SpaceX website, the first stage booster on this launch has been reused 15 times.





Not many renewables around my current location, I had to scrape the barrel to find this,



I’m at a seaside place and the clue to this place is it has a very long beach.
