Octopus have been running "Power Up's" in the South East UKPowerNetworks area since last December - We had 4 over Christmas and New Year and a total of around 20 so far - each one lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours. No rhyme nor reason to the timing - for example on 3rd March we have had a "Power up" between 12:30pm and 14:30pm (all electric free for 2 hours) followed by a Saving Session between 6pm and 7pm).
The webpage when signing up said it was a scheme in conjunction with UKPowerNetworks and they hoped to expand to other DNO areas in the future.
