Drove down the A34 from Oxford today and there were some incredible views of frozen winter forests around the area of Highclere where they filmed Downton Abbey. I cannot remember seeing anything like that in the UK.

SWMBO & I went down to workshop today, log chopping & Dyson vac maintenance. That crunching sound as the boots punched through the top frozen layer in the absolute silence. Right back to childhood. 8-) 👍

Snow, light in Cambs, 9pm ish, 4c in conservatory.
forecast (bbc app) was "fog" ...we actually have had freezing conditions all day, freezing fog, .wife finally found the foglight on the display.

SWMBO's weather app says -10! I'm not going out to find out. :shock: I may surface around 10am.
Certainly it's only 17.6 degs upstairs & 17.3 degs downstairs today.

Wow at those low temperatures I would have my thermal vest, 2 jumpers, coat and hat on, and if I went outside where it is even colder I would put some more layers on 😂😂

Been out to defrost 2 vehicles, it is bracing on the 🫁 for sure! Sun is up though so its absolutely beautiful. :D

EV was booked in for a service so it was dropped off at 8:30 am
-5 in Fife, brisk 20 minute walk from Garage to Office!
Hot bowl of porridge when I got in!
