With all humility engaged. No1 son can now see at 100% in both eyes. This has been absolutely incredible. Bear in mind that at 30% natural he was hand 6" from face to see. His vision will continue to improve over the next 6 months as his brain reinterprets the incoming signal.

He basically read the bottom line on the eye chart this morning at 09.30hrs. Casual as ye'd like when 24 hrs ago he'd have struggled with any of the letters unassisted in his unaugmented eye.

We are now Team Bionic and will wait quietly for Daughterly to say 'Daaadddd, I was just wondering if? 🤔 ', then we can be family Bionic.

Stopped for fuel leaving Aiyden, he went in to get the coffee, I burst into tears. That's how good this is. :)

Finally around to testing the second 28W Big Blue folding panel on a dull dreich day. The star of the show is the usb plug in power meter. Displays voltage, time ran, momentary amps drawn and cumulative amp hour over the time period.

I'll take both the second panel and usb meter out to Turkey next week. SWMBO will love that!

Bought a couple of these to try out. Nobody really likes the old knives in the eyes when the other half gets up middle of night. Plus I can charge them on my portable panel. Which is all the excuse I need!

We have six similar lights four on the stairs one in the bathroom and another on the landing which allows us to waft upstairs and into the bathroom without or across the landing without needing to throw a switch - especially useful when moving small children to and from the loo in the middle of the night or collecting the baby for a night feed !

Gus asked a couple of months back about the losses through glass for the 28W portable panel.

Just got in the door, sun streaming in, panel in vertical inside glass and 1.15A showing. Took it outside, laid it down flat and it went straight up to 2.5A+. :D
