Charge No 27 at Aire de Cambarette. Heading to Valras-Plage which was a random pick. Another Tesla having to unhitch it’s trailer to charge.

Charge No 28 at Beziers. I was confused whether I reverse in or not then it seems it depends on whether you have a neighbouring vehicle and which way round they are. Makes it easier for non Teslas.

The British drizzle has caught up with us in Valras-Plage.

But had some beautiful sea food direct from a street market and served on a street bench. He had no knowledge of Marie Rose sauce but the lemon was good enough.

Yeah I came across a "drive in forwards inbetween a line of stalls" layout in Germany the other week!

Charge No 29 at Carcassonne, masses of car parking solar canopies here.

Charge No 30 at Saint-Pardoux-l’Ortiger. Loverly new chargers with new half cut cells on the solar canopy. Was down to 3% here and was getting 230kW on the initial charge.

But SWMBO is unhappy as restaurant is closed.

Charge No 31 at our latest hotel in Saint-Junien. Another random place but its near to amother WW2 bucket list place of the Oradour-sur-Glane village massacre.

We did Oradour (sur Glane) with the kids when they were about 11 and 13.

They were very quiet.

It is a startling memorial (though I think it’s been refreshed several times) that needs to be kept to remind future generations.

The visitor centre - well away from the village - is really well done.

If you get chance to stop off in Limoges on your way up, do. It was always a good place to visit and has its own ‘horrors’ particularly around the cathedral (which is stunning).

Used to spend a lot of time around Limoges when we had a place down there.

Charge No 32 at Artenay in another new large supercharger station with a large modern solar canopy.



But on closer inspection the MC4’s on the solar panels are not yet connected up.
