Well that was about 60 hrs to actively flatten the powerbank, PV put away too during this.

Will play about with it tomorrow, handy though as a G&T shade 😎 .

Fan was on last night for about 10hrs. Used 4% only of power brick charge.

Will really help to fill that gap between 'its getting warmer' to 'aircon is a necessity'. Had noticed it the last few nights, temps are defo on the up.

Away to pick up some more this morning. :D

Clouded over here but both panels continuing to output well. Bought a few more fans, two for here and one to travel home for the Bongo. Also spotted sesame seeds as well as stock cubes in chicken and beef varieties. 😋

Setting up a tablelamp and fan on each bedside cabinet along with a cable to charge phones.

That room is now operating on mobile PV only. Sadly no workaround for teamaking yet in the 5V kingdom.

Interested to see how long these bricks stay up for. One started at 92% and the other at 95%. 14.30hrs on the 26th April.

To clarify, that's lights, cooling, comms and tunes all taken care of via solar PV. Gotta ♥️ that! 😎

Went from a bit cloudy to stair rods being chucked from the heavens in around 1second here! Luckily, back home is seeing some decent solar. That's over 8kW between the two Scottish systems.

76.00 big blue 1
50.00 big blue 2
96.00 3x powerbricks
30.00 6x tablelamps
11.00 4x fans
07.00 few USB cables
Total £270

I already had two smaller powerbanks, WiFi hotspot and soundbar knocking about. Thinking of them was the catalyst to this.

Next up will be utilising some of this at Scottish home and in the Bongo(but through existing sockets).

I'll try the 5V to 12V adapter when I get back out here and see if it will run the home hub and maybe even my wee Alexa puck for classic fm.

To break even on this I'd have to offset 1,866kWh of power at 15p per kWh. Luckily I never intended to get my money back.

Its a functioning back up system which entertains and has pleasantly surprised me as is.

To compliment it I should probably look into water filtration beyond moss & charcoal in a cut down Coke bottle which I already know. 🤔 Ah, where to stop.... :D ✋️

Very almost has to be the last on this for a while. Moved a snake light from Furkans electronic boutique to TDC to compensate for the 230V low cost bulb light. It opened the light up nicely in the evening.

Bob Dylan playing and the evening kingdom is indeed returning to sand. 8-)

Removed the usb power meter from the line. It was overheating and throttling back the throughput. Handy having yon wee Ameter bit of software on the phone to test cables and panels with less bottlenecks.

Funny how things stick in the mind. In this case Dubai bulbs as a spec rather than as I'd been using the term as a generic shape for 4W power.

Anyway, I'd replaced 3 gu10 bulbs in our upstairs bathroom with I think 40W equivalents at 7W consumption bought from a electrical shop in Marmaris. This was about 12 weeks ago. One has already failed and a second is blinking on and off on start up. Not a good sign!

Went down to Appo's light shop here in the village this morning and in amongst a whole slew of GU10 led's from multiple manufacturers I spotted some Phillips. Duely bought them remembering 'Dubai spec' chat. Holey Jamoley! Eyesearingly bright. 3.2W per(£1.66 each), absolutely blows away the 7W generic version.

Take what you will from this!
